Introduction to Equine Assisted Mental Health Workshop

Equine Assisted Mental Health (EAMH) is an intervention that more and more people in the DFW metroplex are seeking out as an alternative for traditional office therapies.  We are offering a two-day workshop provides a basic understanding of EAMH including what it is, how it differs from other equine partnered services, competencies of providers, understanding horse behaviors and guided experiences with the herd.

PATH International has accredited each workshop for 10CEs, 10 CRs for ESMHL, OR a combination of the two.

Facilitation Skills Workshop

This two day workshop will allow participants to understand experiential facilitation skills from both a theoretical and hands on perspective. This workshop puts the participant in the driver’s seat to have experiences with both the horses and humans, building facilitation skills and strengthening their understanding of equine assisted mental health and learning. This workshop allows the participant to actually do the work they will do with clients in collaboration with other professionals.

PATH International has accredited each workshop for 10CEs, 10 CRs for ESMHL, OR a combination of the two.
